Located about 24 km from Nairobi CBD, Syokimau is a vibrant residential suburb in Machakos County.
The suburb was named after The Kambaa Prophetess-Syokimau- who successfully predicted the coming of colonialists from Kisauni abd the building of the Mombasa Kisumu Railway.
